Caring and sharing with skills and interests
King-Bruwaert House volunteers donate their time, talents, skills and interests to residents who benefit from personal attention, socialization, discussions, reading, writing and daily activities. Many of our residents enjoy the contact they have with our volunteers, just as they do when visiting with family members or friends.
For those considering an opportunity for volunteerism, we offer a flexible schedule, encouraging a minimum of two hours a week in an area of interest. Our volunteer orientation program consists of a building tour, resident care introduction, background check and an overview of campus policies. Morning, afternoon, evening or weekend hours may be arranged for volunteer service on a regular basis. For more information, please call our Director of Life Enrichment and Volunteers at (630) 230-9568.
